Greek Yoghurt Flatbreads (2 ingredient flatbreads)

Make these incredibly easy, yet perfect, fluffy and tasty flatbreads at home with this 2 ingredient recipe. That’s right, just 2 ingredients! No yeast in the cupboard, no worries. No time to wait hours to let the dough prove and prove again, no worries. All you need is equal measures of Greek Yogurt and Self Raising Flour.

Ingredients: (makes 8)

  • 250g Greek Yoghurt, full fat

  • 250g Self Raising Flour

  • Oil, for greasing the pan


  • In a large bowl, mix together the Greek Yoghurt and Self Raising Flour to form a dough

  • Leave the dough to rest for about 10-15 minutes. This will help the yoghurt absorb all of the flour

  • Divide your dough into 8 even-sized balls

  • Lightly dust the work surface with some flour and roll out the first ball of dough to a 0.5cm thickness. You can do whatever shape you like; round, oval, rectangle to name a few

  • Place a large frying pan on a high heat and lightly grease with oil. I put the oil in the pan and with a piece of kitchen roll, sweep it around the pan to remove the excess

  • Lay the flatbread in the pan and cook for about 30 seconds, or until the flatbread is covered in light brown spots

  • Flip the flatbread over and cook the other side for a further 30 seconds or until light brown spots show

If you have two of you in the kitchen, it works really well to have one rolling whilst the other is cooking. If it's just you, repeat the above steps until you've rolled and cooked all of your flatbreads.
