Mango Salsa

This mango salsa gives a subtle kick of heat from the jalapenos which are perfectly paired with the citrus flavours from the coriander and lime juice. It is the perfect accompaniment to some grilled meats and fish on tacos or simply have a big bowl on your buffet party table.


I haven't given you any quantities follow as you can make as much or little as you need. I would advise having equal amounts of mango to red onion and equal amounts of coriander and jalapenos to your taste preference. I love a really zingy flavour, so would use 1 or 2 limes depending on the amount I'm making.


You can also chop your ingredients really fine or have them chunkier, it really depends on the type of salsa you fancy!


Ingredients:

  • Mango, chopped

  • Red Onion, chopped

  • Corriander, chopped

  • Jalapenos, chopped

  • Fresh Lime Juice, squeezed

Method:

  • In a large bowl, mix together the mango, red onion, coriander and jalapenos

  • Squeeze your lime juice into the bowl and mix again

  • Serve and eat straight away or leave covered in the fridge. Eat within 24 hours for maximum freshness
