Tzatziki is a dip that I could eat endless bowls of with fresh warm flatbreads..anyone else?
With a quick whip up of a few ingredients, you can make this bowl of delight to serve with a kebab, bbq skewers, or a meze board.
250g Greek yogurt
2 tsp lazy garlic/2 garlic cloves finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill
1 tbsp fresh mint
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt & Pepper
Peel the skin from your cucumber cut lengthways in two and remove the middle
Finely grate the cucumber, put it in a sieve over a bowl and using the back of a teaspoon, press the excess water out of the cucumber
Add all the ingredients together in a clean bowl and mix together
And that's it... Tzatziki!
For best results, I leave to chill in the fridge for a couple of hours however it still tastes good served straight away.
